golf in Arizona, SedonaFall In Love. Romance in the Red Rocks
of Sedona, Arizona.
By Tracy Phillips

With the kids back in school and finally settled into a new routine, it’s time to steal away to Sedona for a romantic getaway.  There is no better time to take a trip to Sedona’s Red Rock country than September: warm days, cool nights and gorgeous sunsets. So now is the time to reconnect in Sedona…

Watch the sun set over Red Rocks while the two of you share a glass of wine on a private balcony as steaks cook in the kitchen.  Then relax with a soak in the whirlpool tub… With a stay at the Sedona Summit Resort all of the above is possible.  Resort features: three pools, hot tubs, fitness center and personal Concierge service.  One bedroom suite features: private balcony, fireplace, full kitchen and whirlpool tub.  The resort is adjacent to National Forest Service land and affords panoramic Red Rock views.  Now onto more romance…

Sedona has a wide variety of activities for couples to enjoy.  How about an early morning Hot Air Balloon ride that culminates with a champagne toast?  Maybe a romantic train ride to the Grand Canyon on the Grand Canyon Railway.  Ride first class and enjoy complimentary snacks and a champagne toast.  Finally, what’s more romantic than a little alone time?  While he hits one of the world-class golf courses, she can relax with a spa day.  Then come together for a candlelit dinner…

Dining in Sedona, AZSpeaking of dinner, there is a plethora of romantic restaurants to enjoy in Sedona.   First is Cucina Rustica., voted one of Sedona’s most romantic restaurants, this fine dining establishment is beautifully decorated and serves fabulous Italian food.  Additionally, they offer inside or patio dining.  In the mood for a steak?  Then the Silver Saddle room at The Cowboy Club is just right.  This landmark restaurant located in uptown Sedona features steaks, seafood and an award winning wine list all served in a candlelit room with over-sized booths.
