Overview
 
The Front Range landscape is untamed and spacious, with mountain parks, cultural towns, wild rivers and is home to the famous Rocky Mountain National Park. Charming mountain towns and university cities add to the mystique and fun of this region, and vestiges of the Old West are still abundant.  The region is encompassed by the Front Range Mountains to the west and the Great Plains to the east. Activities include gaming, dining, skiing, visit microbreweries, ghost towns, dude ranches, fishing, hiking, ballooning, golfing, white water rafting, and more.
 
Attractions include the Central City Opera House, Boulder's Pearl Street Mall, Old Fort Collins Walking tour, Georgetown Loop Railroad, Lebanon Silver Mine, Colorado Chautauqua, the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Argo Gold Mine and Mill, Centennial Village Museum, Leanin' Tree Museum & Sculpture Garden of Western Art, Greeley History Museum, St Vrain State Park, Boyd Lake Sate Park, Fort Vasquez Museum, Mile High Flea Market,
Rocky Mountain National Park, Boulder Flatirons, Mount Evans, Indian Peaks Wilderness, Brainard Lake, Lory State Park, and Eldorado Canyon State Park.
 
Scenic drives include Peak to Peak Scenic and Historic Byway, Cache la Poudre-North Park, Guanella Pass, Lariat Loop, and Mount Evans.
