Overview:
Farms and ranches stretching across the short-grassed prairies, migrating cranes and snow geese, and a rich multi-cultural heritage, make this one of Colorado's most intriguing regions. The region goes from flatland to the Wet Mountains and Spanish Peaks taking in the Comanche National Grassland and John Martin Reservoir State Park, the largest body of water on Colorado's eastern plains.
