Whether is it shopping,
entertainment, gaming, fine dining, or outdoor recreation, the Las Vegas
territory of Nevada is chock full of things to do. The famous "Las Vegas
strip" takes you on an international stroll from New York to Egypt to
Paris and beyond. Waterfalls, aquariums, bird sanctuaries, art exhibits,
water shows, the light show on Fremont Street and the "all night" shows,
shopping and dining is enough to keep anyone busy and amazed. Besides
the famous strip there are also Museums, Botanical Gardens, Roller
Coasters and amusement rides, and galleries to visit.
Year-round water play is offered at Lake Mead, the river resort town of
Laughlin and the Colorado River, all within a days drive of Vegas--and
Mount Charleston (11,918 feet high), Red Rock Canyon National
Conservation Area and the Spring Mountains give hikers, climbers, skiers
and bikers their kind of fun. Attractions include the Boulder City
Historic District, Hoover Dam and Museum, Lost City Museum. Valley of
Fire State Park, Lake Mohave, the Black Mountains, Spring Mountain State
Park, Clark County Museum, Ethel M's Chocolate Factory and Cactus
Garden, Ron Lee Gallery, Carroll Shelby Museum, Donna Beam Fine Art
Gallery, Guggenheim Hermitage Museum, King Tut's Tomb and Museum, Las
Vegas Art Museum, Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix, Las Vegas Motor Speedway,

Scenic drives include the Strip, Las Vegas Boulevard, three state
highway, Lee Canyon Road (State Route 156), Deer Creek Road (State Route
158) and and Kyle Canyon Road (State route 157) link U.S. Highway 95
with the majestic Mount Charleston.
