About Soulsbyville:
Soulsbyville is located in the heart of the Gold Country in Tuolumne
County, just east of historic Sonora, and about 15 minutes from
Pinecrest Lake, Dodge Ridge Ski Area and the Leland Snow Play Park. It
is also about 5 minutes from Black Oak Casino in Tuolumne. Sousbyville
is just west of the Stanislaus National Forest and Yosemite National
Park. The whole area features a myriad of recreational opportunities,
nature and wildlife viewing, and a number of historical attractions to
experience the areas gold rush heritage.
Attractions & Activities
Emigrant Wilderness Area:
This 113,000 acre
wilderness area is bordered by Yosemite National Park on the south, the
Toiyabe National Forest on the east, and State Highway 108 on the north.
There are approximately 185 miles of trails in the Emigrant Wilderness,
and travel is restricted to foot or horseback. Info:

Stanislaus National Forest:
Featuring over 800 miles of rivers and streams, and pristine solitude.

Yosemite National Park:
Covering nearly 1,200 square miles of vast wilderness, Yosemite National
Park is one of the first wilderness parks in the United States, and is
known for its waterfalls, deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant
sequoias, and much more. Enjoy hiking, birding and wildlife watching,
photography, stargazing, ranger and interpretive programs, horseback
