Named for the prolific yucca in its natural
landscape, Yucca Valley is a country-like city with an ideal location in
Southern California's high desert about 30 miles northeast of Palm
Springs, on Highway 62. Residents enjoy a healthy climate and quality of
life enjoying sunshine and clear skies more than 320 days a year. Locals
and visitors find an ideal environment to enjoy the open spaces, starry
nights and many outdoor recreation opportunities. It is 3,279 feet above
sea level, with a population of over 35,000.

Revolving, temporary exhibits; lectures, and family activities. Open
Tues.-Sun. 10am-5pm. Located in the Town of Yucca Valley Community Center
