November
Skies
This poem is from Ed Keenan,
author & cowboy poet
Casting autumn aside
And giving us the first taste of winter
Revived by the cooler season
I hike the sodden freshness of the woods
Beneath the pretzeled limbs
Before the Sabbath of silvery snows
Bleaches out the sunny rays
A never-ending fog
Low clouds bring days of endless drizzle
And so the dawn barely rises
The pewter days of winter cling to darkness
Dusk falls like heavy eyelids
When November filters evening light
And muted sunsets in a rush
The heaviness of
dark
Where zephyrs fly past leaves that lie
So begins the songless season
Beyond the monotony of a summer hymn
Comes a changing woodland
Of slanted rays through wooded vales
Calling me to winter’s rest

Our Mission:
Our Mission: "Big Blend Magazine is a company based on the belief that education is the most formidable weapon that can be waged against fear, ignorance and prejudice.
It is our belief that education starts at
home and branches outward. Education leads to travel, and
travel leads to understanding, tolerance, and appreciation
of cultures and customs different to our own, and ultimately
to world peace. Our company is further based on the
principle that networking, communication, and helping others
to promote and market themselves leads to financial
stability; thus paving the way to better education, travel,
and the spirit of giving back to the community." |
