Peridot emits a warm and friendly energy. Peridot is used to cleanse and to stimulate the heart and solar plexus chakras. It also helps to regulate cycles such as physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, and life cycles. It provides a shield of protection around the body which needs to be removed upon balancing and cleansing the chakras. Wearing or carrying Peridot upon completion of balancing, alignment and chakra cleansing will prevent outside influences from affecting the aligned, balanced, and cleansed structure.

Peridot lessens anger or jealousy, inspiring happiness within the self and delight in the nature of ones life.

Peridot was believed to keep away evil spirits.

Peridot is found in the United States, Brazil, Egypt, Ireland, Russia, Sri Lanka and the Canary Islands. The color variations are from olive green, yellowish-green, honey, red and brownish.
