Roughley Manor Bed & Breakfast Inn

Situated on 25 secluded desert acres, Roughley Manor is a beautiful, historic Bed & Breakfast Inn, located in Twentynine Palms, CA, just minutes from Joshua Tree National Park and the gateway to the Mojave National Preserve. Old Washingtonia Palms and Cypress trees surround this Victorian manor built in 1928. It is constructed of native stone with Vermont maple flooring throughout. The Manor's Main House is three stories tall with two suites, each with it's own fireplace, private bath and sitting room. A "great room" that is 22' x 50', serves as a dining area and as a the perfect place to hold events.


There are five more buildings, separate from the main house. Two are individual cottages, one is a stone museum building; and one is the Barn. The newest edition is the Pool Bungalow, which opens out to the pool and hot tub. Each room is decorated in it's own style and has a kitchenette and private bath. Roughley Manor is also pet friendly and has a designated cottage for pet owner guests.



Wireless DSL access is available on the property and all guest rooms have air conditioning and Satellite TV. They are AAA triple diamond approved.

GARDENS & GROUNDS:  Roughley Manor has a very romantic atmosphere including a rose garden with over 100 rose bushes, a gazebo, a 5-tier fountain, and plenty of room to stroll through the gardens. Each year their resident Great Horned Owls nest and delight guests with their regular appearances.

SCRAPBOOKS /RETREATS: From corporate to scrap booking and needlepoint retreats, Roughley Manor offers the perfect location for group retreats for 10 - 21 people. Groups facilities and amenities include lodging and a full breakfast; the use of the great room; the outdoor patio area; gardens and grounds; pool and hot tub. The Manor has dinner packages, provides hor d'oeuvres, plus tea and desserts. Groups range from corporate, team building, artists, writers, photographers, birders, scrap booking, needlepoint and quilting, to hikers, rock climbers, cyclists and families.
